Vice President of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs
Marc Wiles has more than 20 years of experience in the research community. He brings extensive technical and regulatory expertise in assessing, developing and registering therapeutic products.
Most recently, Wiles served as the general manager and regulatory affairs scientific advisor at NDA Regulatory Science in England. As general manager, he had direct oversight over numerous departments, including regulatory, business development and information technology (IT). Wiles was an integral part of the company’s successful expansion of its U.S. operations. He was also involved in implementing a new organizational structure for the United Kingdom offices, major re-staffing efforts, IT infrastructure stabilization and major operational cost reductions.
Before NDA, Wiles was the director of regulatory affairs (nonclinical and clinical) and general manager at ERA Consulting in London and senior vice president of operations at ProImmune in Oxford, England. Wiles graduated with highest honors from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in biology/chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in cell biology and microvascular physiology from Boston University.
